Attorney Rick Wallace began his of counsel role with the Mike Kelly Law Group in late 2011. He brings to the Mike Kelly Law Group a diverse background as a South Carolina lawyer and CPA. His career has been in transactional and business law, tax matters, estate and trust planning and administration, including a focus on complex corporate structure and finance and on real estate development.

 

Rick has consistently devoted his efforts to helping his clients achieve their goals and desires, whether in planning and execution or in problem resolution.

 

Rick is a life-long resident of South Carolina and attended public schools in Greenwood. He is married and has three adult children. He is an active member of and serves on the vestry of St. Martin's in the Fields Episcopal Church.

 

Professional Career

 

Rick passed the Certified Public Accountants exam while in law school and worked with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Ernst. He was a pioneer in mediation and alternative dispute resolution in South Carolina, being one of the first 40 to receive approved training and court certification. He was a member of the Board of the South Carolina Council for Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (1994-97).
