Attorney Tad McLeod is a South Carolina native dedicated to providing effective advocacy for any person in need.

 

Prior to joining The Mike Kelly Law Group in 2011, Tad served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy and was based out of Norfolk, Virginia. During his naval service Tad served as Strike Warfare Officer of USS Thorn (DD-988) and Navigator of USS Mitscher (DDG-57), participating in deployments to the Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean supporting operations for the global war on terrorism. He is passionate about his country and serving fellow Americans through his legal practice.

 

Legal Career

 

After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Tad served as a law clerk for the Honorable James R. Barber, III, and later began his practice in the field of insurance defense litigation.

 

Taking Time to Give Back

 

Tad volunteers his time to assist with middle and high school mock trial competitions throughout the Midlands of South Carolina and serves as a special prosecutor for the Attorney General’s office in matters involving criminal domestic violence. He is a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Irmo, SC.
